Unity Spiritual Center of Peace Basics Class
Saturdays:10 am-12 pm
February 9th-March 9th, 2019
Facilitated by: Susan Smith, LUT
During this course we will be covering basic information about the background of Unity, Unity Principles and Unity Practices. We will also be talking specifically about our community and how we apply our five core values: Service, Peace, Acceptance, Creativity and Education in relation to the Unity Basics. This class is designed for anyone who has an interest in learning more about Unity, how Unity of Peace serves and/or how they may serve our community.
ONGOING
We currently offer three meditation opportunities each week. There is no fee (love offerings are always welcome)
MONDAYS, 6:00-7:00pm.
Please join us as we practice a few calming exercises followed by 30 minutes of silent meditation. Beginners and people of all faiths are welcome. Meditation will primarily be done on cushioned chairs but participants are welcome to bring their own yoga mat or meditation cushion if they prefer.
Wednesdays, 9:45-10:15am and Sundays, 8:50-9:30
Unity was founded on prayer. We begin each of these times together with a few moments of affirmative prayer, simply relaxing our bodies, our thoughts, and aligning ourselves in awareness of Infinite Possibility as we move into Silence together.
