.SEE (Spiritual Education and Enrichment) Class: The Christ

Four Saturdays in April, 10:00am - 12:30pm

Susan Nyhus, LUT will facilitate this class, which will explore the concept of "The Christ" in the Bible and in our lives. Jesus was not the only Christ- we all are the Christ in potential, expressing that potential to greater or lesser degree in any given moment. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend SEE classes- for those who may choose to pursue credentialing as Unity teachers or ministers, this is a required class. If credit is desired, there will be a registration fee payable to Unity Worldwide Spiritual Institute by the completion of the class. There is no fee for this class; a love offering will be blessed each week.

The Quest for Wholeness: Healing Ourselves, Healing Our World

Spiritual Book Discussion Group

Facilitator: Susan Smith. LUT

Dates: Thursdays, 6:45-8:30 pm, Starting 5/9 through 6/27

In this book Robert Brumet takes the idea of wholeness beyond healing or personal fulfillment to the realization of our true spiritual Self.  He says that we are spiritual beings having a human experience and that our suffering is the result of having identified exclusively with our humanity, ignoring our spiritual nature. We will be reading, studying and discussing each chapter in depth for a period of eight weeks. Join us for all and/or any of our weekly discussions.

Who else needs to know what your wishes are so that you can receive what you want?

Attend this free two-hour workshop and learn…

  • Why deciding what kind of healthcare you want late in life is so important
  • How to talk to your loved ones and healthcare professionals about what you want
  • How to document your decisions so your wants will be made known when appropriate
  • How to revise and update any advance care plans you might have already

Enhance your present by planning your future, then get on with living!

Saturday, May 18, 2019              10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

We currently offer three meditation opportunities each week. There is no fee (love offerings are always welcome)

MONDAYS, 6:00-7:00pm.

Please join us as we practice a few calming exercises followed by 30 minutes of silent meditation. Beginners and people of all faiths are welcome. Meditation will primarily be done on cushioned chairs but participants are welcome to bring their own yoga mat or meditation cushion if they prefer.

Wednesdays, 9:45-10:15am and Sundays, 8:50-9:30

Unity was founded on prayer. We begin each of these times together with a few moments of affirmative prayer, simply relaxing our bodies, our thoughts, and aligning ourselves in awareness of Infinite Possibility as we move into Silence together.
